Common Problems We Solve

You are probably here because one of these sounds familiar:

Your team ships features, but isn't sure if they're the right ones. There's a gap between business goals and what the team is actually building.
Discovery happens, but inconsistently. Some PMs do it well; others skip it when delivery pressure rises. There's no shared standard.
Stakeholders drive the roadmap.Requests and priorities come from the top, not from customer insights.
Validation is an afterthought. The team builds first and tests with users only after launch — if at all.
Nobody agrees on what “good discovery” looks like.Every PM has a different method, and alignment is hard to achieve.
The team confuses outputs with outcomes.Features get shipped; the real business impact is hard to connect back.

Our Process

Before the workshop

Scoping & tailoring

We start with a scoping call to understand your team's current discovery practices, the products you work on, and the challenges you want to address. This lets us prepare a tailored case study and shape the exercises around your real context — not a generic scenario.

Day 1

Discover and Understand

We establish the foundations: the product development process, what discovery actually means in practice, and how to structure work with the Opportunity-Solution Tree. We then move into translating business goals into product outcomes, identifying and mapping opportunities, and exploring how research helps you make better product decisions.

Day 2

Validate and Plan

We cover ideation and solution design, assumption mapping (DVF), and the most effective validation methods — from in-depth interviews to lightweight demand tests. The day closes with experiment design, where each team member leaves with a test plan for a real opportunity from their own work.

After the workshop

Action report & next steps

You receive a written action report with our recommendations on how to embed discovery practices into your team's rhythm, plus a roadmap for what to prioritise next. Optional ongoing support is available for teams who want continued coaching.

Why Choose Us

We work on your real product — not a fictional case.

Every exercise is designed around your team's actual context. The case study is tailored to your product. The outcomes are immediately applicable.

Hands-on, not theoretical.

We spend the majority of time on interactive exercises, not slides. Your team practises the methods in the room — so they can apply them on Monday morning.

Built for product organisations, not just startups.

This workshop is designed for teams in established or scaling companies where there is already a product function, but discovery practices need to mature.

An advisor who has built products, not just trained people.

Aleksander has built 4 tech products from 0 to 1 in fintech, HR, design, and analytics — and has trained over 300 startups and 20 product organisations. The workshop is grounded in what actually works in practice.

It builds a habit, not just knowledge.

The goal is not a one-time learning event. It's to help your team build a continuous discovery muscle — so that exploring and validating becomes part of how you work every week.

FAQs

Who is this workshop for?
It’s designed for product teams in growing or established organisations — typically with more than one product team — who want to improve how they discover and validate product opportunities. If you’re a startup founder looking for early-stage product development support, see our For Startups services.
How long is it?
Two full days (up to 8 hours each). For teams that prefer a lighter daily format, it can also be split into three days of 5 hours each. We recommend keeping the days consecutive — the momentum of back-to-back learning and practice is part of what makes it work.
Can it be delivered online?
Yes. It works well in both formats. The online version uses collaborative tools (Miro or Mural) to replicate the hands-on experience. On-site workshops are available for teams who prefer in-person facilitation.
How many people can attend?
We recommend up to 16 participants to maintain a high level of interaction. For larger teams, we can discuss a tailored format.
Do we need to prepare anything?
After the scoping call, we’ll share a short preparation guide. The main ask is that each participant comes with a real product challenge or opportunity in mind — so the exercises have immediate relevance.
What do we leave with?
A concrete discovery practice plan for your team, completed experiment designs for real opportunities, a post-workshop action report, and shared workshop materials to reference going forward.
